Die Hard 2 Die Harder (1990) DVD Review

The Story
New York cop John McClane (Bruce Willis) is picking his wife Holly (Bonnie Bedelia) up from Washington's Dulles Airport at Christmas. The authorities don't believe John when he sees some very suspisious people of which he kills one in a gun fight. It's just his luck when terrorist take over the airflight controls and keep a number of planes circling over the airport hostage, including the plane Holly is on. As the authorities don't believe him, he has to go at it himself. Surrounded by a snow storm McClane fights the baddies in and around the airport.

The Review
There are more plot twists and turns then in the first Die Hard, but the story is quite similar. This however, is made up by another set of excellent action scenes. As the action isn't contained in a single high rise building, there is more oportunity to take the action outside the airport. I enjoyed the return of the unsympathetic TV news presenter, who again isn't being very sympathetic. In summary a nice action movie that keeps you entertained for two hours.
